WISCO President Greg Close has been with the company since its founding in 1988. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Close served the Stoel Rives law firm for several years as a paralegal in the construction department. Close received his undergraduate degree from Oregon State University and completed a postgraduate program specializing in real estate law at the University of San Diego Law School. In addition, Close has completed a wide variety of subsequent real estate and business courses specializing in appraisal, finance, accounting, real estate investment and taxation and real estate market analysis.
While an executive with WISCO, Close has been responsible for the arrangement of dozens of complex real estate and finance transactions and served as a trusted investment advisor to many institutions and individuals. Close has had a special interest in supporting community social service programs, including those surrounding the provision of quality mental health care and special needs housing, having served as an executive officer on a number of boards since 1989.
